Text Remodelers: Proofreading for you!
You are judged by your use of language.

You want to put your best foot forward in your writing, be it for publication, seeking a job, whatever.  Just as you would see a good stylist or tailor to spruce you up for any other presentation, you need a good proofreader to help dress you up.

For a very modest sum, I can provide you with the objective and trained eye to polish your text to get your point across clearly and without you drawing attention to the little things that can negatively impact a reader's assessment of your work.

The bottom line is that The content is still you, only sharper.

What you get for your money
Below is a sample of what I will return to you.  Note that all corrections and suggestions are in bold and surrounded by [brackets].  This allows you to chose from among the changes you would like made to your work rather than having them imposed on you.

This means you get a clear explanation of what needs to be addressed without having to decipher the you used to get from your high school teachers.  All editorial comments are in plain English with a clear explanation of why a change was suggested.

What I return to you is your document labeled "xxxxx-edited.doc" (where "xxxxx" is the original name) so that you do not overwrite your original.  This file will contain all the corrections within the text.  Also, at the top of the document you will find a section of general comments: general suggestions and corrections that addresses issues larger than the paragraph level.

Rates
In a nutshell:  Cost to you = $3 base charge per project + $2 dollars per page thereafter (assuming standard format: 12 pt font, double-spaced text; see below).  "Project" means that multiple chapters or forms from a single.

Alternate methods of payment
I also accept payment via money order.  However, electronic payments have the advantage of reaching me faster.  I typically do not accept checks because the time required for them to clear the bank is almost always longer than is acceptable to a customer who wishes to have his or her work edited before other approaching deadlines.  If you have no problem with a lengthy delay (up to 30 days), then this option is available as well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask: .  Thanks.  -Jason.
