The "tower" continues to climb skyward.
At this point it honestly looks like it is already above the surface of
the ground level.
Note the culverts in the foreground. Presumably, these will connect to the hole in the "tower." We'll see... |

The culverts are gone now, although I
don't know where they were put to use (i.e., in the crater or in the newer
hole to the left).

I don't know when they started employing
security guards, but at one point I thought about going in the tunnel and
screaming while a friend video taped the guard's reaction at the surface.
I just couldn't bring myself to do it though considering how few functioning coronary arteries this guy probably has. |
