Post-Katrina Explorations: Another NO East Subdivision, cont'd
Continuing where we left off...

I wonder how many fathoms the car's warranty is good for?

Add it to the list.  Katrina hates mailboxes.

Not included in the request was help for the fifth person, the author's mother-in-law who was visiting at the time.

I don't know how much of this was due to the crane and how much to Katrina.  I asked, but they blamed one another.

The (in)side of the house.

Here's a view from a little further away.

The bottom of the grill sitting in the center of the frame is completely rusted away from sitting in the water.  Not that there is any steak for miles around here.

Another view down another street.

We'll get to the white car behind the light pole in a minute.

That's a FEMA trailer off to the left.

Note the popped trunk on the green car.  Looted.

And here's the white one.  We saw this every once in a while.  I don't know what the deal was as far as what got towed and what didn't.

I mean, it wasn't like there was a shortage of parking spaces or anything.

The wind blew over a wall.  That's all I have to say about this one.
