Post-Katrina Explorations: Shopping Center, cont'd
Continuing where we left off...
The water line is clearly visible in this part of a Chinese restaurant.

I don't know where the grocery cart came from.
Here's another dining room in the same restaurant.

A lot of this seemed to have been cleared out already but by workers or the water, I couldn't say.
 
Here's the kitchen.

Um, yeah.  I think the health inspector might have a few notes on this place.
These are the holes in the walls I keep referring to.  The receeding water apparently punched open most of the storefronts.
Here's a dry cleaning business...
...inside of which plenty of clothes were still waiting to be picked up, although I'm guessing they're dirtier now than when they were dropped off.
This donut shop was in the same lot as the rest of the shopping center, but probably because it stood alone, it didn't fare even as well.
You can see that most of the tiles are ripped from the roof.
Apparently we showed up too late to get any fresh donuts.
And there wasn't a cop in the place!
