Katrina really turned some of these houses inside out.  Here are a few more pics.

The spray paint is a request for donations and not to demolish the place.

This house was gutted, but look closely at the boards. 

Yep, mold.

They're going to have to seriously treat a lot of these places if they ever plan to make them liveable in the future.

Katrina could use some lessons from Martha Stewart about decorating.

That's the refrigerator.  This is the one appliance Katrina didn't need any help moving.  Even in brick houses that the waters didn't budge, a fridge was buoyant enough to pick up and toss around enough to do some damage.

This was the maid's day off.

Note, however, Katrina put the seat back down.

That must have been some party!
