Here's the place. It's high on the hill behind the courthouse and not far from the river. I don't know much about the history of the town to know what purpose it served. I mean, I'm calling it a house, but for all I know it may have been a public utility building at the time it was constructed. |

A view from the side. There are no windows or doors (anymore?) nor a roof (see next picture), but the back wall makes me think it had a second story. |

Here's a look down into it from above. Note the stairs alongside. |

Same view but from opposite side of the property. |

From the bottom. |

Down the hill a bit. There are rocks preventing erosion on this part of the hill. Also, there are several other spots where there are the remains of other structures (though nothing this impressive). |

I don't have a wide-angle lens, and the
rooms are so small that it is difficult to stand far enough back to get
a wide shot, but this is a look from inside one of the rooms toward the
front.
There are no artifacts left behind, which isn't at all surprising considering how frequented this area is by tourists, joggers, and vagrants. |

Speaking of the latter, this guy camped out among the nearby power boxes for some of the city facilities. This area usually has evidence of multiple vagrants since they often stash their things around here during the day. |
