Mineral study
Rocks are grouped into three categories.  You will take one of the rocks listed below and answer the following questions about it based on information on the web and from texts in the library.  When we return from the classroom you will present your findings to the group.  Make sure your notes are organized.

Questions:
-What does this type of rock look like?   How do you identify it?
-What is it made of (chemically)?
-How does it form?
-Where can this type of rock be found?
-What is this type of rock used for?
-What other interesting information can you find about this rock?
