Why?
  The Periodic Table is the ôrolodex to the universe."  You need to get to know these guys.

What do you need to cover?
Biological importance- where is it used and in what form?
Industrial importance- where is it used and in what form?
Where is it found naturally and in what form (boiling/melting points, combined with which elements)?
How is it processed?
What is the origin of its name?
When was it discovered?

Means of assessment:
Written report (typed, bibliography, and all that)
Presentation with visuals of the element (physical examples may be brought in) and a table of the properties (provide a data sheet to attach to the visual)
