The Inner Planets
This project explores the inner planets.  You will teach the class the information you cover, not merely present it.

Quantitative information:
Size (absolute and relative to the Earth)
Orbital period (year)
Rotational period (day)
Distance from Sun and Length of time for light to reach
Temperatures (highs, lows, avg.)
Tilt of axis

Qualitative information:
Composition of planet (most abundant elements)
Presence of water?  In what form?
Composition of atmosphere
Weather phenomena
Seismic activity?  (i.e. earthquakes, volcanism)
Moons?  Composition, Origin of, Size, Rotational period, Revolution, Appearance (i.e., craters, etc.)

Detailed information:
Appearance
Geographic features
History of exploration (which  probes, etc.)
Possibility of indigenous life
Possibility of colonization, terraformation
Moons?  Composition, Origin of, Size, Rotational period, Revolution, Appearance (i.e., craters, etc.)

Requirements:
-Presentation to last no less than one full  class period.
With the presentation you will need:
 -Facilitated note-taking forms.
 -Electronic presentation to supplement and reinforce information covered
-Written report: formal bibliography, headings, must include diagrams where appropriate.
