Famous Movie and TV Cars
Here's a list of the most iconic and otherwise notable cars from movies and tv.  Think of it as something of a checklist for toy collectors (i.e., Hot Wheels) as well.  In fact, several toy car brands have released many of these.  For example, Johnny Lighting regularly produces movie cars and even had a series of them called "Hollywood on Wheels."  Similarly, Matchbox had its "Star Car " line.  Hot Wheels recently started a premium line, but they have a lot of catching-up to do.

The Cars (in alphabetical order by film or tv series).  Note that there are a few places where I have more than one model year listed.  Those are cases where I found conflicting information, so both are given:

*Details marked with an asterisk indicate cases where different sources provided contradictory information, usually regarding the year.  I simply haven't taken the time to research any further to check which is most likely accurate.

All these cars and their details were compiled from various "Top 10" (and higher) lists around the web.  My thanks to everyone who helped identify the original makes of these cars, even if my list is still a bit incomplete on many details.  Suggestions of other noteworthy vehicles are welcome!
