Cort Curbow Bass
This is a very nice copy of the high-end Curbow basses.  It sports a three band EQ as well as a "slap switch," a toggle that selects a different gauge capacitor that shifts the tonal range such that it (supposedly) sounds better for slap/pop playing.  However, this being a fretless bass, the metal-against-metal sound isn't there to begin with, so it doesn't do a lot of good.

(future) Modification: Piezo bridge
Function: As versatile as this instrument is, it lacks the one thing you really want to hear from a fretless: the acoustic sound.  Unfortunately, after-market piezo systems are still outrageously expensive for basses.  Add to that the fact that I'm 100 times better of a guitarist than I am a bass player, and you can figure this is a very low priority for me at the moment.
