Books I Have Read (so far...)
Out of curiousity the other day, I decided to make an inventory of all the "grown-up" books I can remember having read (skimming or reading excerpts for research doesn't count).  However, I did include a few titles that I started and never finished (Marked as "unfinished").  Not included are textbooks and short story anthologies, although I have read a few cover to cover.

Titles are organized by genre (though this is probably a bit subjective in some cases) and author, and are not reflective of the order in which I read them.

I'm sure I missed quite a few which will be added as they occur to me.  This is what I came up with....

Note: "" = Recommended title!  These are books that I especially enjoyed and/or got a lot out of irrespective of their status as "classics" or popular favorites in a genre.  I will give the authors a break here and not single out their failures.

Reality Isn't What It Used to Be: Theatrical Politics, Ready-to-Wear Religion, Global Myths, Primitive Chic, and O (unfinished)

That's all I can think of right now.  Every once in a while I remember another couple books I read years ago (or even a few months back), and I add them in here.  One thing that might jump out about this list is that, once I find an author I like, I tend to go a bit overboard reading everything by him/her.
